I found a bunch of animation cels drying in my bathroom I forgot I'd painted. They'd apparently been there for days but they had drops of water on them that never dried. I picked one up and the water slid across the cel and made all the paint run.

I was at some kind of mall or university and I ran into someone who I thought might know someone who had written a bunch of really detailed notes in a copy of the Voynich Manuscript I found at the library. It turns out they did, but I couldn't talk for long about it because I had to go to work. I tried to get their contact info but woke up while they were saying their phone number.

I kept finding birds inside the house and had to let them out. I couldn't figure out where they were coming from, but as soon as I opened the front door they flew right out.

I went to visit my uncle and stopped at a gas station to buy stuff on the way and it took them forever to get their credit card reader working. When I got to my uncle's there was an electric organ there that I started playing around with. It started picking up AM radio waves and playing rock music.

Saw my grandpa who passed away. We talked for a bit and I got to hug him and he gave me candy.

I'd found a basement to my apartment that I'd never been in before. There were a lot of tools and opened packages of snacks down there, along with a bunch of weird looking bees.

I went to the grocery store. They'd moved a lot of the produce outside and they had a bunch of big round tables people were sitting at. Apparently the inside of the grocery store had three floors but they were only using one. Someone's younger cousin kept following me around and bugging me.

I was in a quiet little city and someone new there was talking about how nice it was when the train rolled through because otherwise it was eerily quiet around. Someone who'd lived there a long time commented that when the train rolled through it was so loud that you couldn't hear the music. When it was really quiet around and you listened closely you could hear the subtle sounds of the town and distant accordions playing a pleasant waltz.

I was at some kind of hacking related conference and they didn't have any chairs to sit in while watching presentations so everyone was supposed to bring a little mat to sit on on the floor. People would also sit on their mats in groups in the hallways and form little impromptu restaurants and stuff.

I went to the grocery store but they weren't scanning any items, you just had to guess at how much money you owed them and filled out a really time-consuming form on their computer with an amount you thought would cover it.

I was on a spaceship that I think was a school. I was new there, and I might have been from the past and dealing with futureshock. They were doing an improv night. There were these massive planet-sized space ships you could see out the window. When they travelled they left a glowing red swirl that tapered off into a point the direction they were going. My friend's sister worked on one of them. Every once in a while, all the students would go home to really normal suburban houses.

There was a marketplace I went to where you could buy fresh produce and everything was in Dutch.

I was Bart Simpson and I had to leave home early to catch a bus, but ended up convincing Marge to take us to a volcano instead. Then I was at the store and decided not to buy anything but I didn't want to leave without anything so I got a pack of gum. The cashier opened up my gum and took a piece. Then I had a to go to a dinner with the landlord for a place I wanted to move to and everyone was trying not to make a mess so it wouldn't look like we were messy people who would be bad tenants.

I watched a cartoon someone made to advertise their AI startup where the whole thing was just cartoon people praising how functional a cartoon robot was.

I was in highschool but I was wandering around the school instead of going to classes. I got on an elevator and it turned out that in addition to going to another floor it also went sideways and became some kind of shuttle that traveled outside the school.

I was traveling to a city on a light rail train. Someone announced over some loudspeakers that they were going to shut off the power in the surrounding area. They shut off the power but the train had enough momentum that it still got to the city. I'd forgotten to bring a jacket but I'd brought a laptop I had to uselessly lug around. I got off the train and when I went to put my mask on there was a little soccer ball in it.

I visited a small town in Florida where they had a giant castle that had collapsed in on itself, but you could still go inside and take tours of it. I didn't want to tour it but I needed to use their restroom so I went in. I ran into one of my friends there and apparently they knew the owner of the place. You were required to where a hat while you were in there and there were a bunch of random hats strewn about.

There was a dark room you could go into and offer up pizza to some sort of powerful being and if you did you would gain an immense amount of power, but when I went in there they didn't want my pizza for some reason.

I visited a business that did Icelandic translations. They also sold a bunch of random English books. I talked to the owner of the place and they said that the books sold really well.

I lived on the fourth floor of an apartment building and decided to take the stairs, which ended up going through other people's apartments. There was some kind of bacteria I was supposed to try to grow that would grow in the shape of objects, but I didn't want to bother taking care of it. I watched a remake of Kung Fu Panda where it abruptly ended like 20 minutes into the film.

There was a big circle of people sitting and hanging out on the floor of a giant room. They were doing some kind of quiz contest and my group went first. The person running the quiz read all the available answers to choose from, but I wasn't paying attention. They refused to read the options again and spent a bunch of time adjusting their glasses. After a long time they reread them and I got the question wrong. A friend I haven't seen in a while was there and they thought it was kind of funny.

I had a conversation with someone about how nobody cared if you wore pants at the Trader Joe's.

I was at a drive-in movie except instead of cars everyone just sat on the ground on the pavement. They were showing an new version of the movie "Hackers" with updated special effects that looked awful and included CGI ninja turtles.

I was at some kind of summer camp where there were two halves of the camp separated by water. I had apparently left my phone on the other half of camp, but I didn't really care. There was this giant parade of all these weird boats going from one half to the other and I was supposed to go and join them, so me and my brother and sister got in a little rowboat so we could row over to them.

I was a passenger in a car with someone as they were driving on the freeway. They went a different way than usual and there were giant loop-the-loops you had to drive through. It was supposed to be some kind of shortcut.

Somebody built a bunch of little cages all over the place and each one had someone's name and picture in it. It turned out that they were rockets that would take select people away while everyone else would be destroyed. The survivors then that were in rockets then had to try to survive which usually meant fighting each other for resources. Some of the survivors were given special abilities called "mother powers" and there was a mysterious place with giant statues made by mother powers.

My room mate got a dog and decided to let it into my room while I was sleeping as a joke. It decided to stand on top of me and then the cat stood on top of the dog so I just had a little tower of animals balanced on me while I was trying to sleep.

I was on a train and I sat down next to someone since there weren't any other seats open. They complimented a purse I was carrying around because someone important to me had given it to me. We started talking and had a really long conversation. After I got off the train I realized that they'd handed me a long note with a link to their Mastodon account at the end of it.

I went to a fast food restaurant and for some reason I didn't order right away and I was just kind of sitting there for awhile. A bunch of random people I knew from highschool walked in. Only one person seemed to recognize me, but they didn't say hi, they just started talking to me like we'd already been talking and they told me I should go order something, so I went and got in line.

I won a prize for some reason and when I went to get the prize they just handed me two raw eggs. The person who handed me the prize kept insisting that it was a really good prize and that I just hadn't figured out how good of a prize it was yet.

I went to Japan and some family friends were living there so they let me stay with them. I practiced jumping over their couch and then we went to go get my money exchanged. We went to a grocery store that also had a little fast food restaurant in it where the supervisor kept telling everyone to work faster over an intercom. They also had a vending machine that dispensed full sized waffles but they all came out half cold.

I was at someones house and they let me play one of their video games. It was some kind of side-scroller with really pretty black-and-white art and a lot of plants covering everything. When you first started playing it there's another character with the main character and they do everything together, but at some point that character just abruptly disappears and I think the rest of the game is just about trying to figure out what happened.

There was a teleportation device you could use with your phone. We tested it at Build-A-Bear Workshop in the mall. When you teleported the two sides of the teleporter swapped places, but both sides had to agree to teleport and if one side didn't teleport the other side would just disappear. This side-effect ended up being used for hair removal somehow.

I was at a school and I forgot my glasses so I couldn't see what they were teaching. I was going to go home during lunch and get my glasses and it turned out that on the outside of the building there was a tangle of stairs that they had apparently built wrong. They were like a maze and I couldn't figure out how to get to ground outside the school.

I was wandering around my neighborhood and I knew I could breath underwater but there was no water around. Then I was part of race or something near Arches but I (or someone else) fell off the track. The track turned into a colorful tangled ribbon floating in the air. I started seeing it as a 3D model that I could apply textures to. It had a certain texture where turning it would make a section of it look like a little looping animation.

I got two little dogs and one of them had these big, almost human teeth and a face that was a bit like a skull. It kept trying to snap at me with its teeth and I kept trying to teach it not to.

I was supposed to ride a bus somewhere, but the bus broke down and I had to take a different bus. It turned out the place I was going was an amphitheater where I was supposed to work on some kind of group project that was due in 15 hours. One of my friends was in my group which was nice. We went somewhere else to work on it and for some reason I had to do a bunch of dishes and we talked about completely unrelated stuff.

I was playing with the cat and if I moved things toward his face he would open his eyes really big and I thought it was funny.

I was working on the art project I'm working on in real life but it was in a sketchbook instead of on the computer. It had a lot more conflict and fight scenes than the real one. I had left the sketchbook out and someone had picked it up and started reading it and commenting pretty positively about what was going on in it. Apparently I had a plan to add sound and make a video out of it somehow.

I was with a group of friends and we decided to visit a private island that one of our friends secretly owned. That friend usually swam to their island because they were super athletic. The island had a giant skyscraper on it that turned out to house a really big company that they'd started at some point. We went in and snuck around and tried to get free food without anyone realizing we didn't actually work there.

I was at some kind of business that had a big shop floor where they made stuff. I found a piece of metal on the floor that I bent into a tension wrench and joked about picking locks with it. They ended up locking down the whole shop floor and were going to search everyone so I threw the piece of metal on the floor so they couldn't prove I had it.

The business also had a bunch of weirdly religious stuff in the workplace and they were being actively sued for religious discrimination.

I was at a place where they sold soda, but if you got a gallon of it and drank the whole thing on a treadmill you could have it for free. I decided I wanted to try it and started preparing myself for the challenge.

I was playing a popular video game and apparently I knew someone's grandmother who helped make it. The way they described it, it was supposed to be a driving and camping simulator but most people didn't play it that way. I drove off a road so I could go camp, but then a bunch of people started messaging me on the internet, mostly about the game I think, and I had a hard keeping them all organized.

I was outside up in the mountains near someone's cabin or something. It was late and I was listening around and I could hear a bunch of animals making distressed noises. I looked where the sounds came from and saw a wolf. I started running away with a bunch of animals. I came across a camp and it turned out it was my camp and I was camping outside with a bunch of people without a tent. Even with the wolf about, I felt like I'd be safe if I stuck with everyone else.

Someone had been arrested for hacking and sent to some kind of special facility where everyone used portals to get around. They made friends with some of the emloyees there and was freely traveling around the facility with them. They all went to a talent show for employees but one of the performaces was someone playing ukulele while pelting the audience with thousands of BB guns.

I was living in some kind of trailer with my friends except it was huge and didn't really feel cramped or anything. Someone named Cathleen (not a real-life person so I don't mind mentioning their name) had come along with me. I didn't really know them that well, and they were kind of quiet at first, but when they started to open up I remember really liking the way they talked.

I went to some kind of class or event and after it was over there was a bunch of food we got to eat. One of my friends from junior high was there and we got a chance to talk a bit.

I was driving in the car with someonce and a cat jumped out the window from inside the car. At first we didn't stop because we thought it wasn't our cat, it was a freshly hatched cat (from an egg). Then we realized it was too big to be freshly hatched so we stopped and turned around. We brought a lion along with us and it kept trying to bite me. We eventually found the cat but it had a completely different face than our cat.

I was going through all the books written by a certain science fiction author (maybe it was Ray Bradbury?). One of them was this adventure story that took place on a snowy mountain with snow mobile chases and helicopters and stuff. It struck me as really cliché and I kind of assumed that their publisher made them write it.

I graduated from a tiny college that I could barely remember the name of despite going there. Apparently all the college students had to share a graduation with a bunch of elementary schoolers. Afterward I spent a bunch of time trying to find vegan food to celebrate with.

Also I watch the local news and one of the news anchors was trying to make jokes, and he was actually pretty funny but the other anchors were giving him a hard time about it.

I went to a local hacker meetup and ran into someone there who I know online. They were trying to give away old German computer magazines and were talking about how nostalgic all the old Coke advertisements in them were.

I was with two people and we were near a big building and I decided to try to sneak into it. It turned out it was a fire station and they actually did guided tours and stuff so people could go in if they wanted to. Then without telling the people I was with I decided to go get coffee. When I got back they were really confused about why I was gone so long.

I was talking to someone who was trying to give me tips about how to defend yourself in court. They said that they had a hard time remembering the order of what they said so they let the audience remember the order of things for them. Then I saw them in court and they looked very wide-eyed and unprepared.

I rode a train with a bunch of other people to some kind of haunted house where fake ghosts would chase you around and you could find little electronic toy guns to shoot them with. All the ghosts were these really realistic grotesque monsters.

After our session was over I realized that I had lost my wallet and my phone. I asked around to see if they had a lost and found but no one knew where it was.

I went to a camp with some of my friends from growing up. We got bored of the camp so we decided to leave, but we had climb across all these really wiggly boulders where some of them would just suddenly tip over.

The dream ended and I had another dream that I was with the same group of people and one of my friends started describing the boulder dream to me and I was like "Wait, I had the exact same dream".

I went to Disneyland but spent the entire time in a used bookstore they had there. One of the books I was going to buy was an English translation of a Japanese light novel. I didn't know what it was about but I figured I don't own any light novels so I should give it a try.

At some point I traveled to some kind of giant underground cavern full of water that you could only get to if you could breath underwater and control water with your mind. There were a lot of little bug fish there.

I was going to take a plane to Iceland which required a layover in Arizona. I was also thinking of getting a cable TV subsciption because I had been using my family's and they'd only had a one month free trial.

There was a large building built on top of a hill that I went to because my brother wanted to. It was some kind of research company and people took school trips there or it sort of was a school. I was looking for a place to sit and eat lunch. There was a place where the floor was old and falling apart. Then it turned out the company was evil and they really wanted to trap everyone who entered the building there forever.

It was my birthday and I went to buy some chocolate at the store. The cashier got my stuff mixed up with someone else's so I had to pay the other customer back. At some point one of my friends sent me a bunch of videos of him singing weird songs while riding a bus.

I went to visit my family and apparently every house in their neighborhood was required to completely replace the exterior, so I came back to the house I grew up in but it looked completely different.

I was at a presentation about the governmental history of a country that had previously been part of Yugoslavia. Apparently when they established the current government they weren't very equipped to provide radio broadcasts for the public and it took them a while after they took power to start broadcasting. Not too long afterward the first pirate broadcast on the same frequency occurred.

I was watching a music video on the computer that was either by Gorillaz or Weezer (the dream wasn't very clear about it). Somehow the music video was able to close all the programs on the computer at the end and I was really glad I wasn't working on anything important. Then for some reason I had to go and gather a bunch of sheep and travel around with them.

I went to a local hacker convention but I spent most of the time trying to find where to register. I found some people to talk to at one of the villages. Then I decided to learn how to do a back flip and started practicing in the middle of a hallway.

I was at the library but part of it was ouside and there was a sloped spot with a bunch of snow on it ending in a cliff with a really big drop. I decided to climb down the slope, being careful not to slip and fall of the cliff. There were some other people sitting and hanging out on the slope.

For some reason it was really dark outside even though the sun was up and the sky was clear. I went to the grocery store and started trying to find everything I needed. Everything had a schedule for when you could buy it but all the schedules always lined up so it didn't matter anyway. They had giant radish slices the size of a table, but I didn't buy one because they were too big.

For some reason I was included in the credits of a movie, but only a special re-issue of the movie that had just come out. I really let it go to my head and I kept fast forwarding and rewinding the movie so I could get to the part with my name and show it to people. I was really bad at using the remote so I kept pausing at the wrong time and skipping over it.

I was staying at a college campus and living with a bunch of other people. I had stayed up really late talking to someone. With some other people, we left in the middle of the night to go explore something. We came across this circle whose edge was made of tiny black spheres suspended in the air and decided to run through it since we were in a hurry. Even though the part of the circle made by the spheres was only a 2 or 3 feet deep it felt deeper and it took minutes to run through.

I went to my own highschool graduation that for some reason was years after I left highschool. Instead of having a separate place for all the graduates to sit, everyone just mixed into the audience in an auditorium. I took my time finding a seat and apparently every single one of them was already filled up. I decided to just stand awkwardly by a wall the whole time.

I decided to watch the show "Adventure Time" but apparently it was made by Netflix and they repeatedly mentioned Netflix and how the show was made by Netflix within the show itself. The animation was also really limited because apparently Netflix didn't have a very big budget for the show in the first few seasons.

I went to a week long party/gathering. There was a big controversy at the party they wanted to cover up. I had to play a video game at some point. When I got back the cat was laying eggs which cats supposedly did when they're lonely. I was playing punk music but someone started playing different music by the same band over mine. I took their phone and paused the music and they got mad and wanted to fight me. I said they could eat some leftover cake of mine and they started being super friendly.

I was in a history class and the teacher had written a bunch of puns based on the names of Nirvana songs and I decided to come up with my own pun that would show not only that I knew what music they were referencing but also that I had no idea there was a final that day and I hadn't studied at all.

I watched gameplay of Katamari Damacy, a game I have never actually played, while hearing an explanation of its rules and the history of its development.

I was back in high school listening to a teacher try to teach the class Láadan, but they didn't really know Láadan and couldn't even teach the alphabet right. Someone in the class asked me about local Esperanto groups and I was going to invite them to the one I'm in but they had to run to their next class before I could.

I was riding the train with some friends and they didn't understand that you had to buy a ticket before getting on the train, they thought you paid for it on the train right before you got off, like how you pay at a restaurant. They were asking someone else on the train about it and that person was like "I guess you can buy a ticket if you want to be honest or something". Then I got off the train and everyone was yelling some kind of holiday greeting at each other.

I was wandering around my old junior high but it looked like my old highschool, and I came across a place where they were growing a ton of plants. Apparently they had a song playing about how cool it was to be someone who grows plants. They had rows and rows of plants attached to the ceiling in big containers and they were connected to a machine that would lower them if they needed to be tended to.

I was visiting the east coast and there happened to be a terrible tropical storm while I was there. I wandered around, trying to find shelter. It was hailing and I decided to hide under a worn-out old tarp. Apparently it worked perfectly and protected me from the storm.

I was trying to sleep and some kind of animal entered my room. It was dark and I thought it was a dog so I let it come over to me and started petting it. It wasn't really acting like a dog which I thought was strange until I realized it was actually a lion. I tried to gently push it out of my room and close the door, but it didn't want to leave. My door ended up getting pulled off its hinges and the lion started scratching up the door frame.

I was trying to write in my dream journal but it was also a coloring book / comic book and I ran out of pages to color in which meant it could no longer predict the future. Then a bunch of relatives showed up unannounced and I was trying to help them with groceries.

I went on a short hike with my family and I was kind of mad because they didn't tell me we'd be hiking and I didn't wear good shoes. The hike ended up leading to a place that was serving hamburgers and I was trying to figure out something I could eat instead.

I was in a grocery store with a group of people and we were finishing up an animation before a deadline. We got everything done without making any mistakes and someone offered us extra produce as a reward. They had really big apples I was interested in called "pomegranate apples".

I was in a room with a polar bear and the polar bear was trying to show that they were the one in charge but I wasn't going along with it so they knocked me over and tried to stand on my head. Someone else distracted the polar bear long enough for me to escape.

I was part of a panel at an event where we watched and discussed movies in front of an audience. Apparently I had been a last minute choice so I was the only one on the panel who didn't know in advance what we were going to watch.

I was watching Spiderman 3 and in the movie Spiderman was trying to solve a tiny cryptogram that contained nothing but the Joker's phone number. Spiderman was convinced that he had solved it, but someone was trying to explain to him that the ciphertext was too short and that every phone number was equally likely. But it turned out that it was all part of Spiderman's plan to fake his own death.

I was being held captive by evil people and being transported around in a van with another captive person. Eventually the driver of the car let us free in the middle of the highway and we had to run away. Another person in another car got released as well and they ran away with us too.

I was at a week long summer camp and I was supposed to be doing some kind of activity that involved drawing the ruins of an ancient building but I got distracted looking at pictures on my phone that I had apparently taken in a dream and I couldn't figure out how I could have taken them.

I was at the store trying to buy groceries and I accidently tried to buy a single pistachio. The cashier thought it was me trying to be funny or something and I had to explain to him that I had actually just picked it up without thinking about it. He charged me a penny for it and it turned out that it only had a tiny sliver of pistachio inside the shell so it probably wasn't even worth buying.

Some people came into my work to thank us personally for helping them with a technical issue and I got free food. Apparently it was thanks to us that they could continue operating their business which involved multiple people dressed as Spiderman going around and solving crimes.

My family made me go on a surprise road trip. We were going to be staying somewhere for four days, but I didn't bring any extra clothes. Somehow I had Kool-Aid spilled all over me and I just had to put up with being soaked in Kool-Aid since I couldn't change my clothes.

Hayao Miyazaki had decided that since he was getting older he would spend out the rest of his days living on his personal space station. Rumor had it that he was even going to pilot the space ship that was going to take him to the station by himself.

I was trying to make coffee by roasting it myself on top of a piano. Apparently I had to get done with it very quickly because we had a deadline to send a bunch of coffee to Germany.

I was part of a group trying to learn a language and for some reason we did a lot of our studying on a rickety metal platform you had to climb down to using a set of shaky metal stairs. I was walking down the stairs and they started falling apart, so I had to carefully climb back up with a bunch of other people who were trying to evacuate the platform. After that we decided to switch to learning a safer language.

I went to some kind of indoor farmer's market but I didn't know what to buy. Then I ended up in the city where I wandered around for a while end ended up walking through someone's birthday. Then I ended up in an anime or something with giant monsters, but it turned out none of the monsters were real and one of the characters was imagining them or something.

There was a squirrel that had gotten into my family's house and it did not want to leave for any reason. Eventually I had to catch it in a garbage bag and walk it as far away from the house as I could before it found a way to chew through the bag. I didn't get very far and I was worried it would find its way back to our house.

I went back to college and started taking a class where all you did was watch movies. I started working at my old job again too, so it was exactly like when I was going to school before. I decided I wanted to drop out again before the first day was even over.

I had a jar of mixed nuts, but they had water in them and I was trying to pour the water out without pouring out the nuts. Then I started watching a movie with my friends but left partway through to go to my grandparents' house. One of my friends started texting me what was happening in the movie while I was gone.

I was in my family's living room, pushing junk on the floor away from the walls since apparently there was some risk that the stuff would catch on fire and I didn't want the fire to spread to the walls and burn down the house. Also I was trying to pick out a movie to watch.

I was in high school where there were two tigers roaming around the campus. The school told everyone not to mess with the tigers, but they didn't seem to have any plan to get rid of them.

All I can remember is some kind of clock tower.

I was taking a class in college and we had to make a short video reenacting the movie "The Iron Giant", but for some reason we started reenacting "High School Musical" instead.
